About

Welcome! I am an environmental economist working in the intersection of environmental policy and health and I am passionate about producing data-driven results that inform policy recommendations. I am pursuing my Ph.D. in Agricultural and Resource Economics (ARE) at UC Davis. Before my doctoral studies, I earned my M.S. in ARE from UC Davis and my B.S. in Environmental Economics & Policy from UC Berkeley.

I study the education and health impacts from natural resource boom, and agricultural chemicals. My current research uses spatial shale reserves and administrative data to uncover how does natural resource shock affect human capital accumulation. I translate statistical findings into actionable value propositions. My other on-going work utilizes restricted-used birth records to identify health impacts of toxic chemicals. I highlight the importance of using innovative econometric techniques in establishing causation in various settings.
